Pulcinella "Tough Times" Takeout Menu

It's tough that the COVID-19 pandemic has meant restaurants have had to come up with "tough times" menus, but supporting them means we can help our neighbourhood eateries stay in business until things aren't quite so tough. Pulcinella is a wonderful Italian restaurant on the Lake Shore in the Long Branch area of south Etobicoke. You can phone in your order and pick it up between 3pm and 8pm. Click here for the menu; pizzas are $10! Rosie :)

Double D's | South Etobicoke

If you are looking to try some real Chicago-style deep dish pizza right here in Toronto, Double D's delivers the best in the city. There are two locations, one on Leslieville and the one we ordered from in the west end, in the Long Branch area of Etobicoke on the Lake Shore. Double D's is one of the Toronto restaurants offering takeout and delivery during the COVID-19 pandemic. So if you are looking for a great local restaurant to support and are craving a classic deep dish with pepperoni and Italian sausage, give this spot a try. You can order directly from their website for pick-up or through Uber Eats. Rosie :)

Openish... Some Shops Reopen for Curbside Pickup in Toronto

On Monday, shops that have a street entrance were allowed to open up again in Toronto. Coco, a wonderful chocolate shop on Jane, south of Annette, has just been offering delivery, but has now declared itself "openish."

Like it says on their website... "Chocolate is not a necessity of life, but it sure does make things a little better." If you are wondering what businesses are open(ish) in Toronto and what remains closed, click here for an updated list. Rosie :)
