The Burger's Priest | South Etobicoke

Until now the best non-processed high quality burgers in this area were available at Woody's. Now that the Burger's Priest has arrived, there are more options for burgers made with ultra premium beef. Here is the Priest, which is two patties with cheese and secret sauce:

Here is the Priest with the "Option" on top: two roasted portabello mushrooms, breaded and deep fried.

There are locations of The Burger's Priest all over Toronto and the GTA now. If you visit their website, you can access the Secret Menu if you answer a skill-testing question. Rosie :)

Vendemmia Wine Festival | Woodbridge

"La vendemmia" is a very special time of year in Italy. It refers to the fall grape harvest. This is a time of year that is difficult to predict because it can't really be scheduled. It happens with the grapes are at the peak of their ripeness, and ready to be picked for wine. The Vendemmia Wine Festival in Woodbridge is a wonderful celebration in August at the Veneto Centre. Delicious food and the best "uva per vino" are available for purchase- the grapes for making wine.

The entire day finishes with a wine-stomping competition. Stomping grapes was a very interesting experience... the grapes are colder than you would expect.

For more information about the Vendemmia Wine Festival visit the official Woodbridge Italian Festival Facebook page. Rosie :)

Momofuku Noodle Bar | Downtown Toronto

Absolutely outstanding. I love David Chang. If you don't have a lot of time, do this. Start with the pork buns, which have hoisin, scallion and cucumber:

Then order the momofuku ramen with pork belly and shoulder, fish cake and egg. The egg in this bowl... it is what all eggs should hope to have happen to them.

Ontario pork from Kunan Farm. Menu changes daily. An absolute must-visit. If you live in the downtown core, noodle bar now delivers within an hour. Rosie :)
